We are surrounded by a paradisiacal nature, ancient trees, colorful flowers, and a fairy-tale sunrise that will make you feel in harmony with Mother Earth.

Sonora is a warm and bohemian environment with an Italian touch, where attention to detail, the choice of natural materials, and the relaxing colors of the furnishings blend perfectly with the tradition, aromas, and materials of Costa Rica. We have created a unique place here, perfect for enjoying an unforgettable stay and a breathtaking experience.

Each bungalow has its own private terrace facing a tropical garden where you can relax while admiring a stunning environment. You can also unwind in our natural saltwater pool, in the garden area, take a swim, or simply soak up the sun.

We offer workshops for a maximum of 25-30 participants with accommodation options in single/double/triple rooms and a personalized food program, along with our Italian touch to make you feel special. We are here to help you organize an unforgettable retreat at the Sonora Jungle & Yoga Retreat on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica.

The retreats include breakfast and dinner (upon request), prepared at home by our chefs, and exclusive luxury accommodation.

All our rooms at Sonora are in beautiful harmony with Costa Rica’s abundant vegetation. The rooms were built with your comfort in mind and feature Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and high-quality bedding. Sonora is exclusive to one group at a time and can accommodate up to 30 guests in our on-site accommodations, offering an ideal setting for intimate group experiences.

There is plenty of space in Sonora to rest and relax. Our beautiful common areas are exclusively yours during your stay with us. Our saltwater pool and terrace area are perfect places to relax in the afternoon or swim in the evening

Our 100m2 Yoga Shala studio is located in the middle of the garden and is an intimate, spacious, and peaceful space to practice with the energy of Pachamama and the power of its sound

Nutrition

Soul-nourishing food provided by our chefs. Ingredients come from local farms that use organic and sustainable farming methods. We care about nature and nourishment. By valuing what we put into our bodies, we emit a higher energetic vibration. This is one of the fundamental teachings of yoga: treat the body as a temple and do the same with the surrounding environment

Assistance and additional activities

If you need any assistance with teaching during your stay or retreat, our resident teachers are qualified to teach yoga, meditation, dance, and a variety of disciplines. Numerous excursions and activities can be added to your package, including individual or group surf lessons, horseback rides, bee tours, waterfall hikes, kayak trips, cacao ceremonies, and much more
