Welcome to Sonora Jungle & Yoga Retreat a cozy, stylish Boutique Hotel in the tropical jungle in Costa Rica. Located in the surrounding of Puerto Viejo, a picturesque fisherman village, on the Caribbean sea, less than a kilometer from Playa Negra, one of the most beautiful beaches on the coast, and surrounded by Mother Nature, ancient trees, and colorful flowers, rises, like in a fairy tale.

Sonora Caribbean Jungle Retreat, a worm, bohemian ambiance, with her Italian Touch, where the attention to detail, the choice of natural materials, the pale, relaxing colors of the furnishing perfectly melt with the tradition, the fragrances, and the materials from Costa Rica, where we create a unique place, where enjoying an unforgettable experience/holiday.
All the bungalows have a private veranda facing a tropical garden where relax and enjoy time by the pool.
Sonora has a beautiful massage area, where indulge in beauty treatments, with natural products, or having deep tissue, rebalancing massages by professional therapists.
In the garden, we have a spacious, peaceful Shala, a Magical, Intimate space where practicing with the energy of Pachamama.
The Shala is fully equipped with bolsters, blocks, props, and blankets.
And of course, we are Italians, you can find the same care for details, in the delicious vegetarian food, from our Italian Chef, prepared only with organic ingredients, from the local farmers.
From August 2021 we are organizing yoga workshops, Ashtanga in the Jungle, with the words top Ashtanga Masters and more…
